I was delighted to serve as an organising committee member and workshop chair for the recent IEEE International Conference on Soft Robotics (Robosoft) held in Livorno, Italy. I was joined by PhD students Derek Chun and Stephen Mahon.
We had over 300 delegates, seven workshops, three days of scientific programme, and competitions, which made the headline news: Read Here.
Our plenary speakers were outstanding, we were treated to talks from: Professor Koichi Suzumori, Professor Paolo Dario, Professor Daniel Goldman, and Professor Mark Cutkosky.
A thoroughly excellent meeting. Congratulations and thanks to Cecilia Laschi, Fumiya Iida, Kyujin Cho, and Matteo Cianchetti for leading, and I look forward to Seoul next year as the returning workshops chair.
