The IEEE Sensors 2017 conference took place in Glasgow on 30th October until 1st November. With keynote speakers Prof Sheila Rowan, Dr John Kitching, and Prof George Malliaras, this international meeting was packed with high-profile researchers and fascinating talks, spanning a broad spectrum of sensors and sensing applications, from gravitational waves detection to organic electrodes for interfacing with the brain. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of this diverse event and to have the opportunity to engage with fellow researchers from all over the world.
